We survey your people
To get an accurate picture of how your people really think, feel and act, we administer a short (60-question) online survey that asks questions about the behavior that most affects performance. The Denison Organizational Culture Survey is based on over 20 years of research on the link between organizational culture and bottom-line performance measures. For more information on the Denison Survey, go to www.denisonconsulting.com
We interview your people

Based on all of this information, we develop a clear picture of how your organization behaves and the beliefs that give rise to that behavior.
We learn what is happening in the overall group, and what is happening at various levels, functions, and locations within the whole. By understanding various subgroups of your organization, we can give you factual data about why, from a behavioral perspective, you may be seeing the business results you are.

We collaborate with you on a plan
Once we have a clear sense of what we see, and what we think it means, we discuss it with you. Our view is only part of the picture. You, who live and breathe the organization, supply the rest. We find out your ideas about the data. Together, we plan how to make the changes and reinforce the strengths that are necessary for better performance. To learn more about the change process, see Our Change Model.
We educate
Once we know where we want change to occur, we use our knowledge of how best to make that happen by designing targeted educational programs. At Margaret Davis Consulting, we collaborate with teachers, trainers and facilitators in:
Strategy development
Mission and vision development
Knowledge of the customer
Team development
We coach
Often it is essential to make change at the individual level. Leaders and managers whose roles affect the way the organization operates can often benefit from individual coaching. Our coaching approach helps people understand themselves and how their style of management affects the organization.
We monitor
Change that lasts can take time to become established. Strategic plans, training programs, new systems, individual development programs - all demand some form of monitoring, to make sure they are working as planned and that those responsible for them are being held so. We design ways to monitor the change programs that we have helped you put in place.
